Overview:

Render Passes are a helpful way to apply different effects to specific parts of our render pipeline. The Render Pass TOP can be used in conjunction with the Render TOP to select out parts of a scene and achieve multipass rendering. It’s often used when you need to either keep the depth or color buffer from a render when adding another post process effect. For example, you may want to keep the depth data from a render TOP to create the illusion of another object being hidden from view.  In this topic, we’ll look at how we can create multiple render pipelines using the Render Pass TOP to apply unique effects to each part of our pipeline.
