The Time Machine TOP is a powerful operator we can use in conjunction with the Texture 3D TOP. Time Machine uses the input from the Texture 3D to display different images from the 3D texture – the resulting effect can be thought of as warping images in time. A classical example of this idea is the Slit Scan technique. In this topic we’ll explore how we can use the Texture 3D with a Time Machine TOP to create a slit scan time-warping as a video effect to better understand how the Time Machine TOP works.
