202 – TOPs & Intermediate Image Manipulation

Summary

TouchDesigner is a powerful tool for image and video manipulation. In this lesson, we’ll look at how simple transformations can create interesting effects with only a few nodes in our network. We’ll also explore how we can import LUTs (Lookup Table) to add color filters to our content. We’ll take a closer look at the mechanics of working with texture operators, and how you can build your own reusable effects. The goal of this lesson is to understand not only how to recreate these effects, but to develop techniques for further image manipulation and experimentation.
