Learning intermediate techniques for operators and interoperability

This course is an evolution of the 100s Fundamentals series, and focuses on intermediate techniques for operator families, inter-operator mechanics, instancing, and ways to automate the TouchDesigner workflow. If you’re just getting started with TouchDesigner, check out the 100 Series course to learn the fundamentals before beginning this course.

By the end of this course you will be able to:

  • move between operator families 
  • understand the basics of instancing
  • instance using different operator families
  • use intermediate image manipulation techniques
  • work with LUTs inside of TouchDesigner
  • sequence events and use timers
  • build simple state machines and record your data
  • set-up networks for both orthographic and and perspective rendering
  • interact with 3D scenes using render-picking
  • manipulate lighting in 3d scenes
  • work with replicators and their callbacks
  • use python variables in TouchDesigner
  • work with data in tables
  • set-up simple extensions in TouchDesigner
